Microsoft thay đổi hệ thống chứng chỉ mới.

Thông thường, sau vài năm Microsoft sẽ thay đổi hệ thống chứng chỉ của họ, tương đương với việc phát triển và thay đổi các công nghệ mới, cũng như đồng nhất với lộ trình phát triển của Microsoft. Các chứng chỉ cũ: MCSA, MCSD, MCSE sẽ chính thức kết thúc vào 31/1/2021 (lịch cũ là 30/6/2020), Microsoft dời lại 7 tháng lộ trình do ảnh hưởng bởi COVID-19.
Như vậy kể từ bây giờ đến 31/1/2021 nếu ai đang có ý muốn thi các chứng chỉ cũ, sẽ phải đăng ký và thi sớm.
Các hệ thống chứng chỉ mới có tên Microsoft Role-based bao gồm:
